Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, won a crucial vote for the budget in parliament, but still remain under pressure to resign.
The opposition abstained in the voting, which allows budget approval.
The vote also includes Berlusconi lost their majority because it only getsless than half the votes in parliament.
A total of 308 MPs supported the budget, below the 316 needed to obtaina majority.
No one reject the budget, but 321 abstentions.
This figure shows the many members of parliament from the coalition that does not support it.
Previously, the main coalition partner, the Northern League, adding to the pressure he resigned.
Berlusconi has so far refused to resign but has said it would take adecision after the vote on this budget.
Italy is actually facing a relatively small deficit but investors worried aboutthe combination of low growth rate with a debt of 1.7 trillion euros, whichcould make the country too bankrupt.
