French police gave the medal to a dog tracker. The dog gets a reward for helping capture the 1700 drug suspects.
Bak police officer who received the award, the medal was pinned on the dog by holding a special ceremony in the southwestern city of Bordeaux.Aldo, the Belgian Malinois breed is located behind the 1700 arrest of a suspect case of narcotics.
As reported by AFP on Friday (11/11/2011), 'career' Aldo brilliant sinceserving in the police department of Bordeaux in the year 2006. Since then, nearly every day he managed to sniff out the presence of the perpetrators.
This year alone, Aldo had arrested 475 suspects. But workers treating Aldo,Didier Hude just do not get an award.
"Aldo is a police dog with a career truly remarkable," said regional policechief Patrick Stefanini.
Regional public safety officer, Pierre-Marie Bourniquel say that less than a dozen police dogs have been decorated with medals in France.
