Kevin Systrom, Instagram CEO has its own reasons why he wanted to bring the application on Android. One is, the number of users who continue streaking.
Currently the number of users claimed Instagram already reached 50 million. Figures are somewhat fantastic, especially the application is only available for IOS-based devices.
Success was claimed because Instagram created not to make money, butin order to form a large community of fellow IOS device users worldwide.
"Actually we do not start a business for the money. Our focus now is to grow the network. You need to build a network. If not, there are advertisers who do not care," said Systrom.
Well, to expand the users, Instagram now promised would soon be released for Android. Not only that, Systrom also claim to want to dedicate themselves in this project.
"Currently the Android be our top priority, and we must build a team and try to find the best people to work on this project," added Systrom as reported by the Guardian quoted on Wednesday (14/12/2011)
