Astronomy lovers get ready. Because the Orionid meteor shower will be the best meteor shower this year and not to be missed.
"The Earth will cross Halley's Comet debris flow which is the source of the annual Orionid meteor shower. Experts predict there will be 25 meteors per hour when the peak occurred on October 21," the statement issued by NASA on their official website
Most importantly, you do not need to use a telescope, just make sure your alarm goes off. According to the LA's Griffith Observatory, the brightest meteors will appear to fall on Saturday (10/20/2012) night between 21:00 pm until Sunday (10/21/2012) at 5:40 Pacific time.
