Ahmadinejad Does not Want to Praise Obama’s Victory
The victory of Barack Obama became U.S. president
for the second time greeted by the world. However, Iranian President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad did not want to praise the victory.
President Ahmadinejad assess American elections is not
important for him and his country. On that basis, he reluctantly praised Obama's
victory in the election a few days ago.
"I also do not want to praise the Obama’s victory,"
Ahmadinejad told a news conference at the Hotel Ayodhya, Nusa Dua, on Thursday (11/08/2012).
He was in Bali to attend a conference Bali
Democracy Forum (BDF).
Ahmadinejad quipped that democracy in America is not
going well. The indications are, he argues, the political participation of the
American people down. It is not considered a good thing for the development of
democracy. Americans turnout did not reach 50 percent of the total population.
"The decline in the participation of the people, not a
good indicator. System is not moving properly," he said.
