Earthquake rattles Japan, Could Potentially Cause Tsunami.
An earthquake measuring 7.4 on the Richter scale was felt in the east coast of Japan, on Friday (07/12/2012). Tremor was also felt in the capital, Tokyo.
The quake triggered a tsunami warning for the northeastern region of Japan. Some media reports estimated tsunami height of one meter.
Initial reports said the epicenter located in the same location as the devastating earthquake March 11, 2011. At the time, the quake left thousands of people dead and caused damaged Fukushima nuclear reactors and leaking.
