Manchester United (MU) has a fan base are abundant throughout theworld, estimated as many as 500 million. The club was nicknamed 'Red Devil' The British wanted to launch a social networking site specifically forhis fans.
MU has hired SapientNitro, a marketing services company to planpromotional strategies in the digital world. They also planned to construct a social networking site for the fan of Manchester United.
As quoted from The Next Web, Friday (11/04/2011), there is no information about what form such networking sites, would be similar toFacebook or Twitter. To be sure, these networking sites will offer lots of videos about MU football exploits and his players.
Then why not make the most of networking sites which already exist alone?Presumably the MU wants to make social networking more specializedand as they wish, to embrace the fans.
